HOUSTON, TX, December 2020 — A 5,447 SF building at 501 Lovett Blvd was purchased by Keverry on Montrose LLC from American Youth Hostels, Inc. for a new BORI restaurant. The structure, built in 1925, will be renovated with a planned late spring 2021 opening.
Bori brings an original and unique dining experience to Houston, showcasing the first authentic South Korean inspired steakhouse by using the finest quality meats for a total offering of the cultural flavor and essence of Korean taste. Bori is a landmark destination for local and international food enthusiasts in search of the best Korean food in town. BORI is one of few restaurants that offers selections of A5 Wagyu from Japan, Dry‐Aged Steaks, Filet Mignon, & Marinated Boneless Short Rib. This will be Bori’s second Houston location to complement their original restaurant at 1453 Witte Rd.
The purchaser of the property was represented by Hyon Sook Lee of the R. Alex Group, and the Seller was represented by Mark Davis of Davis Commercial.
